How to love yourself more with 20 journal prompts

Learning how to love yourself may look different for you than it does for me. Or for your best friend. Or mom. Or sister. Or cousin…..And that’s the point. We all may need something a little different in order to resonate with us or our needs. But the one thing that’s common for all of us girls is how important it is to have self love in the first place.  

Ultimately, Self love is acceptance of ourselves. It’s learning how to love you… the good and the bad…as you are….flaws and all. Self love encourages you to celebrate that you are diverse emotionally, spiritually, intellectually, physically, and in every other way that you can imagine. And there is beauty in that.

The best part about learning to love yourself is that you’ll stop needing others to define you for you. You stop needing any one else to make you happy. You’ll start realizing that what you think about yourself does in fact matter more than anything else.

  11. What’s one piece of advice I can give to my future self?
  12. What are 5 mindsets I need to let go of so I can move forward in my life?
  13. What am I most afraid of? How can I overcome those fears?
  14. What daily step can I take to be more confident?
  15. What is my fondest memory? How can I experience that again?
  16. What is one thing I need to take with me into the future?
  17. What are three positive things I need to take with me into next year?
  18. What are the top five things on my bucket list? What are five more things I can add to it today?
  19. What do I love most about my body? What is my best feature?
